Efren Jr Cruz Maralit (me) moved from the Philippines to North Shore Auckland at the age of six. This dramatic change in lifestyle and culture was a difficult obstacle to overcome but something I turned into a strength. This upbringing helps Me to understand and relate to people who have experienced different walks in life and can put myself in their shoes. I am skilled at socializing with people, which leads to efficient communication with others, I am highly adaptable to challenging situations and isn’t afraid to ask questions. I also have a professional outlook. My end goal is to become a director, just like the greats who started off as editors. And I enjoy the creative and technical side of bringing a film together.
